Monday, May 24, 2010Hey guys, sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've been flat out with work, and at the moment I'm on leave in Oslo, where I seem to be flat out also cramming in museum visits and Eurovision impromtu concerts. As a small teaser, here are a few pics I took at Holmenkollen today. It's this massive ski jump place, but sadly they won't let any amateurs try it out. Probably a good thing too - as it's still under construction you'd be landing on concrete! Enjoy!

A couple of tips to those of you who are going to visit Holmenkollen
1. If you're going to try the Ski Simulator, don't eat directly before. I had a motion-sickness related headache for a few hours after this.
2. If you're taking the T-Bane, wear some sneakers, as there is an extremely hilly bit you have to climb still to reach the jump hill. It's also very slippery as it's still a construction site.
Anyways, the real reason I'm in Oslo is for Eurovision, and even though I can't attend the final, I'm getting by okay. Semi Final #1 is Tomorrow, and I'm so excited :-D 4 comments
